    Monday, April 8, was too cloudy/overcast in Sheyenne to even notice that a solar eclipse was happening across the country. It was full sun in Carbondale, Ill., where Peter Larson and Sandra watched through special glasses as the moon covered the sun and turned daylight into darkness.     Sheyenne Quilters remembered Marian Lewis as they stitched and tied some of the thousands of quilt blocks Marian pressed and cut over the years.     Back in October, Sheyenne GRIT supported the City of Sheyenne in applying for a U.S. Forest Service tree grant for the city-owned Hendrickson Park campground. Sheyenne GRIT is excited to announce that they were awarded $25,000 of federal money for tree and stump removal and new plantings.     On Monday, Jan. 15, Patti Larson snuck off to England with daughter Sandra and sister-in-law Judy LaBonne. Patti returned to Sheyenne on Sunday, January 28.
