New Rockford-Sheyenne was in control of the game from the outset as the Rockets defeated Drake-Anamoose, by a final score of 58-15, in non-district girls basketball action, played at Drake on Thursday, Jan. 2. The Raiders are a fairly young team. They compete in District 11 and Region 6. All of the Rockets saw playing time and seven scored. New Rockford-Sheyenne played a pretty good overall game, as the locals defeated Dakota Prairie by a final score of 54-43 in District 7 Girls Basketball action played here on Tuesday, Jan. 7. It is not only unsightly, but it is illegal to leave fish, including minnows used for bait, behind on the ice.
