    Two biggest concerns for the future of North Dakota outdoors were really not even on the radar in North Dakota less than 20 years ago. While we’ve known about chronic wasting disease or CWD and zebra mussels, it wasn't until the last 10 years they were documented in North Dakota.   • Junior bowling first half results

    The junior bowling season ended its first half of the season at Wonder Lanes. Fifty-six junior bowlers compete in three different leagues. Between the Monday and Tuesday league, there are 44 kids ranging in age between six to 12 years-old. The Sunday league adds 12 teens to the count. In the spring, these following first-half winners compete against the second-half winners for the league championship.     Steven Redfox, of Tokio, N.D., graduated from Four Winds High School in 2017 and is now upping his game. At Four Winds, Redfox was a point guard for the Indians, helping to bring home the state championship.     Joseph Valles of Devils Lake was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana, on Nov. 30 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He pleaded guilty to the charge in court on Jan. 10. Judge Hovey sentenced Valles to 10 days in jail, all suspended, and ordered him to pay $750 in fines and fees. He is also subject to 360 days of unsupervised probation. Melissa A.
