Junior bowling first half results

The junior bowling season ended its first half of the season at Wonder Lanes. Fifty-six junior bowlers compete in three different leagues. Between the Monday and Tuesday league, there are 44 kids ranging in age between six to 12 years-old. The Sunday league adds 12 teens to the count. In the spring, these following first-half winners compete against the second-half winners for the league championship.

The winning team for the Monday boys and girls league was the “Lady Rockets.” The team is comprised of Lydia Huso, Taylin Jacobson and Elise Guier. The high individual game for girls was Hannah Dockter at 123. Jackson Brazil took a high score of 156 for the boys.

For the Tuesday boys and girls league, the “Zebras” were the winning team, with Kaci Weisenburger, Jocee Lawrence and Ava Peterson. The girls high game went to Ava Peterson with 153. Jacob Louters lead the boys with a high score of 171.

The winning team for the Sunday Junior-Majors was the King Pins with bowlers Haydon Meier and Zander Anglebrandt. Ashley Schuster scored big with the high game and series for the girls, with a 209 game and a 566 series. The boys high game went to Zander Anglebrandt with a 236 game and a 644 series.
