Junior Bantam bowling awards given at banquet

Awards banquets were held at Wonder Lanes for two groups of junior bowlers. They enjoyed a game of bowling followed by the awards and a pizza, brownies and pop lunch. Drawings were also held for various prizes, with every bowler receiving some sort of prize. Miniature bowling pins were handed out with each bowlers name and season high game inscribed on the pin. The winning teams and individual girls and boys high games all received trophies with compliments from the Eagles and Eagles women's auxiliary.

The Tuesday boys and girls league banquet was conducted on April 16. There was a three-way tie for the second half and after a series of roll-off games the Zebras team were declared the league champs. Bowlers on the team were Kaci Weisenburger, Jocee Lawrence and Ava Peterson. Second place team was the Rustlords, with Wyatt Dockter, Brody Weisenburger and Bennett Meier. Third place team was the Tomato Heads, with Hunter Genre, Lucas Laducer and Jacob Louters.

Ava Peterson had the girls high game with a 156, high series 289 (two games) and high average 124. Second high game was Logan Cudworth 155, series 255 and average 101. Most improved average was Kaci Weisenburger with a 17-pin increase. Bennett Meier had the boys high game with a 192, high series 315 and high average 134. Boys most improved average was Braylon Alfstad with a 17-pin increase. The whole league had perfect attendance led by Lucas Laducer with 6 years, Ava Peterson, Jacob Louters, Logan Cudworth and Wyatt Dockter each with fxs years and the rest of the league 1 to 4 years.

The Monday boys and girls awards were handed out on April 22. Winning team was the Lady Rockets, who beat out the second place team in a roll-off by only two pins. Bowlers on the team were Lydia Huso, Taylin Jacobson and Elise Guler. Second place was the Bowling Ninjas with Stephen Sogge, Weston Mudgett and Mateo Albrecht.

Girls high game was bowled by Hannah Dockter with a 126. Her high series was 220 and high average 87. Second high game was Kenzie Allmaras with a 109. The second highest series was bowled by Neecie Swart with 192 and high average of 72. Most-improved average was Neecie with a 27-pin increase over last year. Two tied for the high game for the boys. Layton Jacobson and Jackson Brazil each bowled a high game of 156. The high series was Layton with a 277 and high average with a 102. Second highest series was Sawyer Huso and Alex Weisenburger each with a 257. The second highest average was Alex W. with a 100 and most-improved Layton with a 21-pin increase. This entire league also had perfect attendance with Hannah Dockter with 6 years, Vinnie Ruppell with 5 years and the rest of the league with 1 to 4 years.
