Class A and B teams compete at Lisbon track meet

The New Rockford-Sheyenne (NR-S) track team traveled to the Lisbon Invitational Meet on Tuesday, April 24. It was a good-sized meet.

There were 19 teams participating in in this meet, including Class A teams from West Fargo-Sheyenne, Valley City, Wahpeton, Jamestown and West Fargo. The girls placed seventh and the boys placed 15th.

Girls Placers: Brianna Price placed fourth in the 200 dash with a time of 28.34. In the 400 dash Price placed second with a time of 65.58. Elizabeth Windmer placed sixth in the 800 run with a time of 2:38.80. In the 3200 run, Chloe Heinz placed sixth with 13:08.84. Hannah Haley placed second in the 100 hurdles, with 17.40 and in the 300 hurdles with 50.64. In the 4x200 relay Price, Lauren Roscoe, Widmer and Haley placed fourth with a time of 1:57.91.

Boys Placers: Joey Gray placed eighth in the 100 dash with 12.03. In the triple jump, Nick Hovey placed seventh with 39-00.
