    New Rockford-Sheyenne just did not play very well overall as Medina-Pingree-Buchanan defeated the locals in non-district girls basketball action, played at Pingree on Monday, Feb. 10. The Rockets never quit, but didn’t shoot well from the field and had quite a few turnovers. The Rebels led throughout and at all quarter stops, 25-8, 42-19, 60-31 and won by a final score of 71-43.     This game was quite for the most and very hard-fought as the locals defeated Shiloh-Christian by a final score of 54-49 in non-district boys basketball action played here on Friday, Feb. 7 before a pretty good crowd.     The Rockets played a pretty good first quarter but after that Shiloh Christian gradually pulled away and took control as they defeated the locals by a final score of 65-35 in non-district girls basketball action, played here on Friday, Feb. 7.
