Veterans Day is about remembering and recognizing the service, sacrifices and selflessness of our nation's Veterans. By fighting our nation's wars and defending us all during periods of peace between wars, Veterans have protected our way of life and the freedoms we all enjoy-to speak without fear, to vote as we see fit, and to gather, as we do today. We owe them all a debt of gratitude for the burdens they have borne. Today, we recommit to honoring America's Veterans and renewing our obligation...

Greetings! I was honored to join with American Legion members, on Friday morning, to place flags on Veteran graves at the New Rockford cemetery. I would also like to make a map of our cemetery identifying where veterans are lain to rest....

Thank you to all the members of the community who have reached out to help update the list of Vietnam veterans. We want to publicly acknowledge all of our communities’ Vietnam War veterans and hope that more will be able to join us next year.
