On the evening of Jan. 26, 1906, two sleighloads of public school students and their chaperones Miss Anna Weiss and Miss Julia Shirley went out to the Mr. and Mrs. George Treffry farm and surprised Miss Alice and Master Ray Treffry. They spent a very enjoyable evening. Also that evening, a large number of dancers enjoyed the dance at the Opera House.
