Babe Ruth comes back again with 7-6 win

NR-S overcame a seventh-inning deficit, with two outs, for the second game in a row on June 28, when they faced Rolla in New Rockford. The Black Sox were trailing 6-2 going into the bottom of the seventh and were able to plate five runs to win the game. Bradyn Collier, Alex Weisenburger, Keaton Cudworth, Easton Simon and Easton Benz all crossed the plate in the seventh. The final run was driven in by a ground ball off the bat of Luke Yri.

Simon started the game on the hill and pitched four strong innings. Winning pitcher Yri pitched the final three innings. Jeffery Rosinski started for Rolla and was able to hold the Sox to two runs in six complete innings. Justin Hudson relieved him in the seventh, gave up the five runs and took the loss.

New Rockford played an additional one inning game before a hard-time limit was reached. The Sox again came back to win 8-3. Bradyn Collier had the only hit for NR. Dashyl Bichler, Kage Walford, Malaki Kukowski, Easton Benz and Easton Simon all reached base via the walk and scored.

Walford pitched for the Sox and Cole Henderson pitched for Rolla.
