Ulrich, Hagel make Lions All-Star rosters

Seniors Evan Ulrich of NR-S and Hannah Hagel of Carrington have been selected to the Lions All-Star Basketball Teams for 2021.

The games will be held July 12-13 at Bismarck Legacy and West Fargo.

Ulrich was tabbed as an alternate to the boys' team, which includes on its main roster Caleb Duffield, Bowman Co.; Warren Walker and Isaiah Bundy-Smith, Rugby; Lucas Schumacher, Linton-HMB; Luke Wanzek, Shiloh; Aidan Rebel, New England; Stevan Garza, Grafton; Alex Huber, Edgeley-Kulm-Montpelier; JaeShaun Shaw and Bronson Walter, Four Winds-Minnewaukan; Walker Wold, Lewis & Clark/Berthold, and Gavin Keller, Kindred. Brad Woehl of Kindred is the boys' coach.

The girls' team will be coached by Laurie Sieben of Grafton, and includes Mackenzie Hughes, Thompson; Samantha Oase, Hettinger/Scranton; Julia Dusek, Carlee Sieben and Cassie Sieben, Grafton; Elizabeth Schanilec, Midway/Minto; Kaylee Lowery, Langdon/Edmore/Munich; Madelyn Schmidt, Kidder Co.; Alyssa St. Pierre, Trenton; Abbey Kubas, Dickinson Trinity, and Jacie Hall of Shiloh Christian, along with Hagel.
