Lester and Roger Roberts went for a drive together on Friday.

Grandson, Ryan Thorson of Grand Forks visited Lester and had lunch with him on Saturday.

Sunday visitors at Lester’s were Lezlee Thorson, Roger and Chad Getscher.

Pastor Jeff Halvorson visited Todd Buehler Thursday afternoon.

Friday afternoon, Dave Kenner visited Todd.

Nadley Buehler joined Charlotte Simon Saturday afternoon for a fun shopping day in Carrington.

Tuesday, Charlotte and Melodee Thompson went to Grand Forks to go to granddaughter, Elin Thompson’s gymnastic class. They were overnight guests at Carson and Heidi Thompson’s home.

Randy and Charlotte attended Maddock Elementary boys basketball games on Thursday and Friday and Randy attended the game in Lakota by himself on Saturday.

The Thursday game was against Four-Winds and played in Maddock. The Friday game was in New Rockford.

Nadley Buehler accompanied Charlotte to the Jingle Fest at the Armory in Carrington Saturday afternoon.

Sunday evening, Lee, Amy, Easton and Jaxon Simon were supper guests at Randy and Charlotte’s home.

Tom and Pam Schmid met Pam’s dad, Bud Hermanson and her brother, Jeff in Devils Lake for lunch on Sunday.

Doris Griffin did a Webinar training session on Thursday. She also attended the regional meeting of the REAP (Rural Economic Association Partnership) and CONAC (Center of North America Coalition) for World Development in Rugby.

Friday, Doris went to Sullys Hill store committee meeting. They are planning some winter activities in December and the store and visitor center will be open at that time. Watch for the announcement of dates and times and what activities are planned.

Brittany Grann spent the week in Aberdeen, S.D. with her job.

Sharpshooter, Liz Klein from Bismarck and Trevor Howard from Minneapolis were Saturday morning hunters on the John Grann property. They filled their whitetail deer tags within one half hour of hunting.

John, Donna and Johnny Grann and Stephen Merrick of Oberon went to a UND Fighting Hawks football game on Saturday in Grand Forks. UND won the game against Northern Colorado.

Ben and Brittany Grann spent the weekend in Minneapolis and took in a Minnesota Vikings football game on Sunday.

Thought to Remember: The only person who gets anywhere playing both ends against the middle is an accordion player.
