The folks of Pleasant Prairie were saddened to hear of the death of Deloris Omoth, a long-time neighbor in Superior Township. She and late husband Oliver were long-time farmers in the community. Deloris had been living in Montana near her son Alan.
Jimmy Indergaard called his sister Ruth Braaten and wished her a happy birthday on July 16.
Charlotte Koepplin and Candy Jensen were in Harvey Wednesday on medical business. They enjoyed dinner at Hornebachers before returning to New Rockford.
Margie Anderson was among family to attend the baptism of great grandson Owen Nicholas Hager, Sunday during worship service at Kvernes Lutheran Church. Owen is the son of Ryan and Laura Ha ger. Family later enjoyed brunch at the Chieftain in Carrington.
Monday morning Eric Longnecker was a visitor at Grandpa Ervin Longnecker’s.
Arthur and Diane Yri of Hawaii and Mike and Cheryl Erhardt and Jack of Illinois have been recent visitors and guests at the Glenn and Judy Cudworth home. They visited other family and friends while in the area.
Margie Anderson and Gary and Kathy Anderson enjoyed recent visits with Edgar Duda at Golden Acres Manor in Carrington. Margie also visited with long-time friend Phyllis Lura at the Manor.
Jimmy Indergaard and his sister Ruth Braaten and Nellie drove to Medora Sunday where they took in the musical. They enjoyed the sights— especially the Enchanted Mile near Regent, N.D. and on their return trip, the Bismarck Zoo.
Wednesday visitors at the Margie Anderson home were Kent and Shelly Rigsby of Jamestown and Ralph and Eileen Rigsby of Montana. All enjoyed the performance of Oklahoma at the Old Church Theatre.
