Great American icons came to life on May 15 as the NR-S third grade classes held the "Living Wax Museum."
Crowds came from far and wide to see heroes, front-runners and innovators ranging from Abigail Adams to Walt Disney.
Each one of the 28 students selected a person from the past and learned about them through biographical research over the course of several weeks.
In addition to a research paper, students also prepared a visual aid, short speech and costume for the event.
After their presentations, the students invited their parents to the classroom, where all enjoyed a selection of refreshments.
