The professional rodeo season has started for Bobbi Grann down in Texas. She barrel raced at San Angelo and the Fort Worth Stock Show. She had a good run in San Angelo, but tipped barrels in Fort Worth.

John and Donna Grann attended basketball games in Harvey, New Rockford and Langdon.

Doris Griffin had a busy Wednesday as she attended the 55 Club meeting as well as Timely Topics in Minnewaukan.

James Nelson’s nephew, Dennis Nelson from Montana was in North Dakota for the ice fishing tournament in Devils Lake on Saturday. While he was in the area, he and his mother, Shirley Nelson visited James.

Tom Schmid was in Bismarck on Friday. Pam Schmid attended the 4-H banquet in Maddock on Saturday night.

Lester Roberts treated Dave and Linda Madson to supper at The View Tuesday evening. Justin Roberts visited Lester on Wednesday. Roger Roberts and Lezlee Thorson were Saturday visitors at Lester’s. Chad Getscher was a Sunday visitor.

Paul Prince and Carrie Madson visited Dave and Linda Madson Thursday afternoon. Saturday morning, Linda accompanied Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee Madson to the girls’ Tae Kwon Do testing for their next belt. They both passed and received the next belt color. The testing procedure is interesting and fun to watch. Saturday evening Melodie and the girls were supper guests at Dave and Linda’s.
