Cold no more: City officials approve new heating system for Brown Memorial

On Monday, Dec. 3, the New Rockford City Commission approved a proposal from Alan’s Furnace Service to replace the heating system in the Brown Memorial Auditorium. The downtown public facility hosted Santa Day this past weekend, and twice Paul Fortney of Viking Electric was called in to fix the aging boiler in the days prior to the event.
