Tom, JD and Jakob Schmid took in the rodeo in Minot on Saturday.

Jakob was home for the weekend from Fargo.

Janice and Les Ferry visited Lester and Jackie Roberts on Wednesday. Roger Roberts and also Lezlee Thorson visited the Roberts’ on Saturday. Lezlee stopped by to see her parents again on Sunday. Chad Getscher was also a Sunday visitor at Lester and Jackie’s.

Gene Wooley visited James Nelson on Saturday.

Doris Griffin is a volunteer at Sully’s Hill and she stated that this Sunday is the last time the visitor center will be open, except possibly one weekend in December. Also, it will be open in January for the snow shoeing.

Charlotte Simon went to Lake Metigoshe Ministries Retreat Center for quilting on Wednesday and returned home on Saturday afternoon.

Randy Simon, Mark Simon and Tim Leier were in the Rhame, N.D. area hunting antelope on Thursday and returned home Sunday. They all bagged antelope bucks.

Wednesday evening, Dave and Linda Madson, Carrie Madson, Paul Prince, Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee Madson all enjoyed supper at the Spirit Lake Casino to celebrate Linda’s and Paul’s birthdays.

Cathy and Shawn Caulfield of Jamestown visited Dave and Linda and Melodie on Saturday. Carrie and Paul also stopped by.

Saturday evening, Dave and Linda, Cathy and Shawn, Melodie and Kennedee and McKenzee celebrated Linda’s birthday again with supper at “The Cove.”

Nadley Buehler visited Elisa and Breana Buehler in Mandan Tuesday evening. She spent Wednesday visiting a Mandan elementary school with several other teachers. Peter and Patti-Jo Larson and Craig Poulsen visited Todd Buehler on Wednesday.

Elisa and Hunter spent the weekend at the Buehler farm. Ron and Laurie Knaust of Fargo were weekend guests at Beau and Bria Buehler’s home. Randy and Charlotte Simon visited the Buehler’s Friday evening. Susan Burgstahler of Minneapolis and Mona Knight of Arizona stopped in for a Saturday afternoon visit with Todd and Nadley at their home. Kevin and Lynette Thompson of Almont were Sunday afternoon visitors at the Buehler farm.

Marlene Hendrickson entertained Don Erickson, Craig and Sandy Poulsen, Don, Yvonne and Danny Bonderson and Keith and Carol Hendrickson a week ago Sunday.

Craig and Sandy Poulsen visited James Nelson one day this week. Jarvis Hegland visited James on Sunday.

Doris Griffin attended a carving class with the Lake region Wood Carvers in Devils Lake on Saturday. The instructor was Ray Grimm from Valley City.

Carolyn Geston and her daughter, Janet of Bismarck visited Lester and Jackie Roberts on Saturday. Sunday visitors at the Roberts’ home were Roger Roberts, Marie Dosch and Chad Getscher.

On Monday, Charlotte Simon along with the other Coffee Shop Volunteers baked 13 apple pies for Apple Pie Day at the Coffee House on Tuesday.

Charlotte visited her mother, Joan Bosch at the Care Center in Rugby on Saturday. Saturday evening, she joined seven of her brothers and sisters at the home of JoClaire Halvorson where they were overnight guests.

Carrie Madson spent Monday night with her parents, Dave and Linda Madson. Tuesday, they traveled to Grand Forks where Linda kept a medical appointment.

Paul Prince and Carrie were overnight guests of Melodie Madson Saturday night. Paul installed a furnace in Melodie’s garage.Paul and Carrie returned home on Sunday afternoon.

Monday, Patty Hegland spent the day with the Zietz children while their parents were at work. She returned home that evening. On Friday, Patty went to Hettinger to spend time with her mother, Emily Stadheim. Patty returned home Sunday evening.
