Donations sought for ballpark improvements

Even though the football scoreboard is in place, donations are still sought for ballpark improvements proposed this summer.

There are still $5,000 sponsorship spaces open for the Black Sox baseball scoreboard, which they plan to install next spring, and funds are still needed for some of the other improvements. Donations of any size are welcome and appreciated. For example, a donation of $500 gets the sponsor a banner on the field for one year, and any donation between $1 and $499 is good for a recognition plaque.

 This is a great opportunity to give back to the locals who have worked hard to improve the ballpark. Donations can be sent in care of Elliott Belquist at New Rockford-Sheyenne School.
