Last Monday there was some family socializing over lunch at the Rockford by Martin and Eloise Lucht, Bob and Prisilla Bass of Illinois, Bonnie Kuchen and her son Brian, of Maryland, Mike and Jill Thompson, Jim Johnson Jr., Pattie Hilbert, Judy Belquist, and Kenny Thompson as they met for their annual family catch up and reminiscing.

Wednesday, Shirley Packard was among the gals at the Bible Study of the Kindred Sisters at the Marge Bonnet home.

Friday morning visitors at the Ken and Marvis Holte home were Marvis’ sisters, Penny Sorrrells of Brooklyn, Minn., Ardy Yates of DeValls Bluff, Ark. and Jerrod and Angie Holte of Mapelton, N.D. Later that day the sisters returned to Penny’s in Brooklyn where Marvis and Ardy boarded a plane and flew to Arkansas where Marvis was a guest for a week. Cory Birkholz and his wife Madge of Grand Forks enjoyed visiting his sisters at the Holte home. The Holte’s daughter Amanda Bickett also a visitorand went to accompany Mom, Marvis and Aunt Ardy to Arkansas.

Janet and Leo Laube enjoyed a phone call from Leo’s sister Lois Ockert Sunday to let them know all is well with her in Fargo.

Sunday afternoon visitor at the Shirley Packard home was Margie Anderson.

Among those in the area that enjoyed the fall ride over the weekend with the Circle Trail Riders were Bill and Diana Ziegler and granddaughter Sieria, Duff and Sandy Settelmeyer, Lori Himmelberger, Gene Kaul and grandson Treyton, Zack Rue, Colton Saastad, Brock Theis, Jenna Helseth, Kenny, Joie and Cade, Nate Rue, Hannah Brandner and Axel. They canoed at the host Dale and Diane Rosenberg’s farm. Joining all for the Saturday pot luck supper were Robert and Margie Lies and Denise Reis.

Many Gedrose relatives got together for suppers and visiting at the homes of Marilyn Gedrose and Tim and Lori Partlow from Wednesday and Sunday. All came to attend the wedding of Brittney Roundy and Thomas Moravac Saturday evening at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carrington. Those coming from a distance were: Jack and Arlene Shelton; Bill, Thelma, Jennifer and Allison Kearney and Eddie Hallaran from Long Island, NY; Nathan and Sharon Brewer from Corinth, Texas; Rick Gedrose and Cassie Negra from Tualatin, Ore.; and all the families of Doris and Jerry Wolsky, Marilyn Gedrose and Lillian Gedrose.

New Rockford and areafolks extend sympathy to the family of Russell Weber.
