Lail convicted: First of 3 trials lasts 3 days

On Wednesday, August 1, a jury in Valley City deliberated for a little over two hours before returning a guilty verdict in the Alexander Lail attempted murder case.

This is the first of three trials scheduled over the next month for Lail, of New Rockford, who faces several more drug and assault charges related to an alleged crime spree that spanned at least a year.
