    New Rockford-Sheyenne played well overall as a team defeated Griggs County Central by a final score of 74-39 in non-district boys basketball action played at Cooperstown on Tuesday, February 13. The Cougars are a very young team and they compete in a very tough Region 2, with the likes of Thompson, Cavalier and Hillsboro-Central Valley as top teams.     The archery program at New Rockford-Sheyenne School recently got a boost in funds with help from the Eddy County Rod & Gun Club.     Twelve top spellers from New Rockford- Sheyenne challenged themselves Wednesday, Feb. 14 at the Eddy County Spelling Bee. All students started with a 25 question vocabulary test, followed by a 50 word written spelling challenge.
