The candidates for the primary election are set, and the Republican-endorsed candidates for District 14 want to introduce themselves to area voters.
On Friday, April 19, Karisa Grothe, Larry Danduran and Jason Steidl will hold a town hall at the New Rockford Eagles Club.
Danduran and Steidl are the two Republicans challenging incumbents Jon Nelson and Robin Weisz for their party’s nomination to run for District 14’s two House seats.
Grothe, meanwhile, is challenging incumbent Jerry Klein for the Republican party’s nomination for District 14’s Senate seat.
The event will get underway with a social at 6 p.m., followed by a presentation at 7 p.m.
Rick Becker, a former N.D. legislator who is running on the Republican primary ticket for North Dakota’s sole U.S. House of Representatives seat, will also attend and answer questions.
All voters are welcome and encouraged to attend the forum, where they’ll be able to ask questions and learn where each of the challengers stand on the issues.
The primary election will take place on Tuesday, June 11.
