Ardella Ockert, 92, formerly of New Rockford and Cathay, N.D., died August 19, 2023 in Reno, Nev. A private family burial was held at Lakeview Cemetery in Cathay.

Ardella was born December 19, 1930 to John and Laura Martin near Cathay, N.D. She attended school in Cathay. One of her proud achievements was earning her GED later in life.
