Talk of the Town: Sept. 4, 2023

Son Loren Holte recently called mom and dad, Ken and Marvis Holte, happy to tell them his family's home renovation is complete. Sunday, daughter Amanda Bickett was a visitor at Ken and Marvis' home.

Thursday, a family gathering of sorts found descendants of the late Herbert and Donna Koepplin coming together and enjoying a visit over dinner at the Rockford Café. Family members were Jodi Bergman and Michelle Erickson, both of Thief River Falls, Minn. and Teresa Sather of Fargo. Jodi, Michelle and Teresa are granddaughters to Herbert and Donna. Terry and Sandy Koepplin, Candy Jensen, Gina Clifton, Rick and Cora Koepplin and their granddaughter Katie, and Melony Allmaras were also there. Janelle Koepplin greeted all. Later Jodi, Teresa, Michelle and Candy stopped at the Charlotte Koepplin home for some visiting. A fast but enjoyable day was had by all.

Friday helper at the Shirley Packard home was Mary Gehrtz. Saturday found son Calvin mowing mom's yard.
