Sheyenne Sidewalk Market a hit!

Kids' games were a big hit at the Sheyenne Sidewalk Market on Aug. 5. Over 30 participants competed for prizes including backpacks and other top-notch school supplies. The free activity was made possible through Thrivent Action Teams and the work and organization of Sheyenne GRIT volunteers. Games included hoop throw, bean bag toss, carnival milk bottle throw, fishing and "Quarters in Corn." Thanks to Fessenden Co-op Elevator for supplying the corn. Join us next year for more fun and prizes on Main Street in Sheyenne! Remember, the Sheyenne Farmers Market runs every Saturday 9-11 a.m. from now until the end of the growing season.
