It was a busy day on Saturday with all the activity that goes with Sheyenne's Sidewalk Market. City-wide rummage sales, breakfast and lunch served at Ostby Hall, sidewalk sales along Main street, and the great music of Byron Nelson also on Main Street were all part of the day.
Jan Loe and daughter Steph were in Minnewaukan Saturday for Rock the Lake. They enjoyed the evening with a bonfire at the Hill lakeside home along with Jim and Marjean Woodrow and Brian and Pam Hill.
Sheyenne Stampede events for Saturday, Aug. 19, at Hendrickson Park: 1 p.m. Championship Barrel Racing; 5:00 p.m. Championship Ranch Rodeo; 8:00 p.m. Ben Haggard concert. Tickets at the gate.
On Saturday, Aug. 19, the display honoring Duane Howard at Ostby Hall, Main Street, Sheyenne will be open for viewing from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. Stop in to view items and photos from his legacy and visit with his grandson Mitchell Poulsen and his wife Elisha.
