Sheyenne News: July 24, 2023

Deanna Smith Erickson met Patti Clifton in Sheyenne and they attended the funeral service for Shirley Thueson at Grace Lutheran Church on July 12. Following the service and fellowship, Deanna visited at Patti's home for a bit. Condolences to the family of Shirley Thueson.

On Wednesday afternoon, July 12, Jan Loe and Barb Eversvik visited with May Fleisher at her apartment in Devils Lake.

Thursday, July 13, Patti Clifton and Jan Loe were in Jamestown. Jan did some recycling before they enjoyed lunch. Later, Patti kept an appointment at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Sheyenne Sidewalk Market is scheduled for Saturday, August 5, starting at 8:00 a.m. The day includes city-wide rummage sales, a flea market on Main, farmers market, food, games, prizes and music. A great day to visit Sheyenne!

July visitors at the home of Carl Daugherty included his daughters, Lori from Olga, Donna from the Twin Cities, and Robin from Bismarck.

Also visiting were Carl's grandson Sean and his wife Breanna, along with their children Reier, Caroline and Mercer from Bismarck; and his granddaughter Casee of Olga.

Jan Loe attended the Celebration of Life for Merl and Marlene Stenberg at Calvary Lutheran Church in Oberon on Saturday afternoon.
