Saturday helpers at the Shirley Packard home were Todd Harrison and Calvin. Calvin is mom Shirley's eyes everyday as he helps her with early morning blood sugar checks due to her failing eyesight.

Ken Holte received Father's Day calls filled with good wishes from sons Loren and Jerrod and daughter Amanda.

Candy Jensen called her brothers Rick and Terry Koepplin Sunday with Father's Day greetings.

Shirley Packard got a recent phone call from Linda Lies with the news her husband Willy had two broken hips, but they still plan to come to New Rockford over the 4th of July and attend the Settelmeyer family reunion. They usually stay at Shirley's, but Willy is unable to do steps so they will be in a motel. The Lies' are from Moorhead, Minn.

Wednesday, Ken and Marvis Holte were in Fargo, where Marvis took care of medical business.

Candy Jensen had a nice surprise Thursday when aunts Dorice Oynes and Shirley Severtson, along with cousin Greg Runyan and Barb from Jamestown and Bismarck, stopped in for a visit.

Friday helper at the Shirley Packard home was Mary Gehrtz.

Sunday, Candy Jensen enjoyed a phone call with her son Derik Holte and Val. The Holtes are doing fine in Minneapolis.

News from Janet Laube. She is settling nicely in an apartment at Edgewood Vista in Fargo and getting accustomed to her daily routine. Getting visits from family, going out on outings, making new friends and watching the goslings on the pond outside her window grow. She says hi to her New Rockford friends.
