The afternoon of June 10, Jeff and Denise Labrensz were at the Matt and Allison Pfeiffer farm to help Cooper celebrate his second birthday along with other guests from Sheyenne, New Rockford, West Fargo and Leonard.

Kickstart your Independence Day celebration on July 2 at the Sheyenne Stampede NDRA Rodeo at Hendrickson Park, Sheyenne. Slack at 9 a.m. and performance at 3 p.m.

Sunday, July 2, Community Worship and Potluck, 10:30 a.m. at Warsing Dam. If raining, worship and potluck will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Sheyenne.

On July 4, Sheyenne's annual parade will route along Main Street, starting at 11:30 a.m. Enjoy the ever-popular, mouth-watering Pit Beef BBQ at Ostby Hall starting at 12:30 p.m.!

Visit the Log Cabin Museum on Main Street in Sheyenne (next to Ostby Hall). The museum will be open on Sundays, 1:30-4:30 p.m., for the summer. The museum will also be open on the 4th of July from 2-4 p.m.

The Sheyenne Senior Center will be open the afternoon of July 4, 2-4 p.m. Stop in for coffee and a visit!
