Kason Nass was the only junior high Rocket to compete in the high jump at the CNDC track meet in Rugby. He set a personal-best record of 4-6, and placed 6th overall. Nass also took third place in the 200-meter hurdles.
The New Rockford-Sheyenne junior high team competed at the Central North Dakota Conference (CNDC) Meet in Rugby on Tuesday, May 9.
NR-S seventh grader, Jaida Schumacher, paved the way for the Rockets. Schumacher took first place in three individual events, even nipping the CNDC meet records in all three!
In the 100-meter dash, Schumacher finished in first place with a new meet record of 13.58...
