New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Alan Seastrand.

Friday found Calvin Packard and mom, Shirley, taking care of business in Carrington. Calvin did some errands for mom on Sunday.

Janet Laube enjoyed the company of and phone calls with grandson Travis Laube, Rhonda from Fargo and Marjean Pfau and Robin Westall, also of Fargo, this week.

Thursday, Ken Holte drove to Harvey where he had luck shopping for a new easy chair. He retired the old and replaced it with the new.

Eloise Lucht is excited that son Alan, of Germany, will be here May 8 and son Scott will be here May 7. All are looking forward to family fun for a couple days. Eloise also got the good news that her sister Ardie’s husband, Glenn Salisbury of Devils Lake, is happy to be home from a lengthy stay in Grand Forks hospital and is doing fine.

Thursday afternoon, Marvis Holte was graced with a cake party by her daughter Amanda and friend Holly Zieman – a fun afternoon of visiting. Marvis will be headed back to Bismarck for some treatments soon.

Candy Jensen enjoyed a phone call from her cousin Dorice (Kraus) Oynes one day. Dorice is from Bismarck and doing fine, and will soon be moving closer to her family in South Dakota.
