Last Tuesday morning brief visitor at the Candy Jensen home was her brother, Rick Koepplin, and afternoon visitors were Brenda Thurin and Jazzy dog from Devils Lake.

Last Sunday evening, Roger Topp enjoyed a visit from Dale and Diane Rosenberg bringing him a treat of torsk and lefse from the torsk supper served by the VFW in Sheyenne.

Saturday, surprise visitors of Janet Laube and YipYip were grandson Travis Laube and friend Missy of Fargo. Travis ran some errands for Gramma. Janet was also pleased to hear from grandson Scott Laube from his home in Minnesota. All is fine with the Laubes.

Friday helper at the Shirley Packard home was Mary Gehrtz and Sunday helper was Calvin Packard. Calvin had taken mom to a medical appointment Tuesday in Carrington.

Sunday, son Larry Lucht of Virginia called mom, Eloise Lucht. Larry had mowed his lawn. It was 65 degrees and he had steaks on the grill. Larry and Irene and family will be coming to New Rockford on August 7 in time for Larry’s birthday.

Sunday, Candy Jensen enjoyed a “check on mom” phone call from son, Derik, and Val Holte from their home in Minneapolis. The Holtes are fine and were happy to find mom doing well.
