Talk of the Town: Feb. 27, 2023

Sunday helper and visitor at the Shirley Packard home was Calvin Packard.

Loren and Amber Holte and McKenzie of Bismarck drove to Devils Lake Saturday, where they visited with Loren’s sister, Fayett Nelson, and treated her to supper at Spirit Lake. Sunday, the Holtes drove to Carrington where they were visitors and dinner guests at the Ken and Marvis Hote home, as all celebrated Loren’s 39th birthday. He especially enjoyed his favorite hot chocolate and caramel rolls.

This week, Janet Laube and YipYip caught up with grandson Travis Laube, sister-in-law Lois Ockert, and niece Robin Westal, all of Fargo, and niece Shelly Nelson of Oklahoma. All are okay and waiting for spring.

Candy Jensen enjoyed a catch up phone call from her son, Derik, and Val Holte of Minneapolis. They are fine and doing well.

Friday, Calvin Packard took his mom, Shirley, to a chiropractic appointment in New Rockford.

Thursday, Cody and Amanda Holte treated dad and mom, Ken and Marvis Holte, to tea and coffee at the Garden Gate in Carrington.
