LRSC students compete at N.D. State College DECA Conference

The Lake Region State College DECA students had an outstanding performance at the ND State Collegiate DECA Conference in Fargo, February 9 and 10! Each of these students qualified for the International Career & Development Conference to be held in Orlando, Fla., April 15th-18th.

• Gavin Brown: Professional Sales – third place;

• Deidra Flanders: Entrepreneurship – Starting a Business – third place and Hotel and Lodging - fourth place;

• Derek Kitchens: Restaurant and Food Service Management – second place;

• Kinzley Knutson: Marketing Management – second place;

• Tom Nikolaisen: Marketing Exam – second place and Sales Management Meeting – third place;

• Elijah Person: Entrepreneurship Exam – first place and Entrepreneurship Operations – fourth place;

• Elijah Person and Derek Kitchens: Business Ethics – first place;

• Kinzley Knutson and Gavin Brown: Marketing Communications – second place;

• Sam McKay and Tom Nikolaisen: Business to Business Marketing – second place.
