The Eddy County Spelling Bee brought 12 great spellers to the Eddy County Courthouse on Wednesday, Feb. 8. After written and oral rounds of spelling competition, Sophie Skogen was named the champion of the 2023 county contest. Austin Weisenburger was runner-up.
