Design Your Succession Plan workshop offered

NDSU Extension is offering a workshop titled, "Design Your Succession Plan" on January 31, February 2, and February 7, 2023. The three-session workshop will be held at the Eddy County Extension Office in New Rockford, N.D., starting at 6 p.m. on January 31, with supper included.

 Tasks like drafting a will, working on an estate plan, and planning for retirement are easy to put off until "later." However, putting them off doesn't make them go away, and the peace of mind and sense of satisfaction that comes from saying, "I'm so glad I did," instead of "I sure wish I would've," are priceless. The decisions that are made when drafting these plans quite often need a fair amount of time to be fully implemented, so time is of the essence.

 Fees for this workshop are structured to encourage family members to participate together. The registration fee of $125 for the first family member covers the cost of meeting expenses and includes a resource binder and workbook. Additional family members from the same operation may attend for $50 each which includes a workbook. Additional resource binders may be purchased for $75 each.
