Talk of the Town: November 14, 2022

Brenda Thurin (Trauman) and Jazzy were Sunday visitors at the Candy Jensen home. Brenda was on the way to her home in Devils Lake from Fargo where she had taken 97th birthday greetings to her mother, Florence Brownlee. Both were one time residents of New Rockford.

 Thursday, Ken and Marvis Holte were passengers on the South Central Transit to Jamestown where Ken had cataract surgery. Ken is doing fine.

 Wednesday, Calvin Packard was busy raking leaves for his mom, Shirley. Thursday, they drove to Carrington and did some necessary errands. Tuesday, Shirley utilized New Rockford’s transit van and took care of business around town.

 Sunday, Janet Laube and YipYip enjoyed a phone call from Fargo from Lois Ockert. All’s fine with Lois and Jack.

 Saturday visitors and helpers at the Ken and Marvis Holte home were Cody and Amanda Bickett. They returned Sunday for a visit and enjoyed cupcakes in celebration of Amanda’s birthday.

 Sunday morning visitors and coffee guests at the Candy Jensen home were her brother, Rick Koepplin, and his granddaughter, Katie.
