Halloween around town

"Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and caldron bubble."

The city of New Rockford was filled with ghouls, goblins, witches, zombies and more for Halloween festivities. On Friday, Oct. 28, over 70 children were found at the Brown Memorial Roller Skating Halloween Party, where 40 door prizes were awarded.

On Halloween night, 200 youth were found in Centennial Park trick-or-treating through Trunk or Treat, hosted by the New Rockford Lions Club. After filling their bags, many families attended the Eddy-New Rockford Library's green screen event, where they took photos with fun backdrops.

Here are just a few of our snapshots from the Halloween festivities. More photos have been posted online at transcript.smugmug.com.
