Last Thursday, Patti Clifton and Jared were in Devils Lake. They had lunch, kept a couple of appointments, did a few errands and some shopping before returning to Sheyenne later in the afternoon.

Another successful First Lutheran Church Women's Fall Turkey Dinner was held on Sunday. About 250 enjoyed the meal, bake sale and visiting. Appreciation goes to all the volunteers who roasted turkeys, prepared the side dishes, baked, worked and donated in any way for the event.

Sheyenne GRIT meeting, Sunday, October 30, 1 p.m. at Ostby Hall. Community members are urged to attend.

Proceeds from the fall turkey dinner and bake sale, $3,294, will be donated to the Riverside Cemetery Fund.
