NR-S school board enacts virtual learning policy

On Monday, Oct. 10, the New Rockford-Sheyenne School Board held a short meeting in which they approved a final reading of the virtual learning policy, which some worry will eliminate the classic “snow day.”
The policy, listed as Policy ABAC, allows NR-S to offer virtual instruction when “weather or other conditions” force administration to cancel in-person learning.
