New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the Overby and Sinkler families.
Shirley Packard enjoyed daughters, Cindy Toben and Cheryl Gabbert, as house guests and helpers from Monday to Thursday this past week. Cindy treated all to supper Monday at the Prairie Inn in Carrington. Tuesday supper was Champ’s Chicken from Mick’s, Cheryl’s treat; and Wednesday the gals drove to Spirit Lake where Shirley treated them to supper at The View. The girls left for their homes in Minesota Thursday, after several fun fruitful days with mom.
They checked out Ida’s Meadows at cousin Todd Harrison’s and Cindy was happy to pick out a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and go home with a dozen meadow fresh eggs.
Janet Laube and YipYip enjoyed a phone call from grandson, Travis Laube, one day checking on grandma. Travis is from Fargo and all is well with him.
Calvin Packard was a Friday helper at mom, Shirley Packard’s.
Eloise Lucht heard from sons, Larry and Alan. Larry and wife, Julie of Virginia, will be soon on a trip to Switzerland. Julie has relatives there. Alan and wife, Irene, are in Germany. Brothers and wives will meet and travel together to Paris, France. A long planned trip finally happenning. Happy travels, happy time.
