Obituary: Tara Sinkler

Tara Sinkler

Billings, Mont.

Tara Sinkler, 39, was tragically and instantly taken to be with her Lord and Savior on August 4, 2022. During a routine drive across town, an oncoming vehicle strayed from its lane and struck her vehicle in a head-on collision.

Tara was a graduate of Belgrade High School, and Montana State University in Bozeman. At the time of her death, she was pursuing a Master of Divinity from Liberty University.

Tara had an infectious smile that could light up any room, and a passion for ministering to others in a way to give hope where there was perceived to be none. This passion was driving her pursuit of further education, while filling her role as Ministry Coordinator of Billings Vineyard Church.

Tara was also driven to pursue and know her God. More than superstition or tradition, she knew the God of the Bible to be the One who holds all authority in heaven and on earth, and she sought obedience to the only One who is worthy. Her greatest desire was that others would come to know this same truth through the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Tara is survived by her children, Maya, Paige, and Luke Feldner. The children are lovingly cared for in the home of their father, Adam Feldner, and family in Billings, Mont.

Tara is also survived by her grandmother, Viola Gisi, in New Rockford, N.D.; her parents, Orley and Julie Sinkler, on Marco Island, Fla.; her brother, Jarid Sinkler (and family) in Eaton, Colo.; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tara would desire you to all enjoy a cheesecake (her favorite) with those closest to you, and consider together how the cheesecake is evidence that someone had to put the ingredients together and bake it... and so, if the cheesecake necessitates a baker, how much more does life necessitate a Creator?

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 12 at Billings Vineyard Church, 1413 Rosebud Lane, in Billings, Mont.
