Special Assessments for street project published this week

The Special Assessment Commission for New Rockford’s city street project has wrapped up its work. The result is a complete list of all the parcels in the two special assessment districts and their special assessment amounts for the city street improvement project.

The total cost assessed to property owners in District 2021-1, or all of New Rockford is $7,692,000. A second district, 2022-1, has been set up for the few property owners who requested additional repairs to their gravel road.

The Special Assessment Committee will hold a public hearing on August 30 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Brown Memorial (621 Central Avenue).
