Lester Roberts and Midge Quam went to Stump Lake on Sunday where they enjoyed the music of a quartet from Minnesota.

Doris Griffin went to Minnewaukan to visit at the 55 Club Saturday. Coffee, bars and cookies were being served and they had a rummage sale.

Doris has one more hen with one new chick and mamma is very protective.

A bit of information learned on Ag Week – if your plants have yellow leaves on the bottom, it is lack of nutrients and not too little or too much water.

Howard and Helen Schmid traveled to Minot on Tuesday to visit Howard’s sister, Sonja Lee. They also visited with Bernice Leiphon. On the way home, the Schmids stopped in Harvey to see Helen’s sister-in-law, Linda Thomas.

On Sunday, Howard and Helen took in the “Rock the Lake” festival in Minnewaukan.

Dave, Linda and Melodie Madson spent the day in Grand Forks on Wednesday. They took care of some business, had lunch and did some shopping.

Friday evening, Dave and Linda enjoyed a phone visit with their son, Stacy.

Dave Kenner and Randy Simon visited Todd Buehler last week.

Brittin and Brooks Buehler came to visit Papa Todd and Grandma Nadley last week.

Nadley and Sherry Boehmer visited Mamie Hass and Mark Sitz in Balfour on Wednesday.

Nadley visited Charlotte Simon on Friday morning.

Sunday visitors at the Todd and Nadley Buehler farm were Dave Kenner and later in the evening, Hunter, Grace and Hendrick Buehler.

Thursday, Johnny Grann moved into Jamestown College and started fall football camp.

John and Donna Grann attended the graduation party for Mika Guty from Knox on Friday.
