Friendly competition: Representative Kelly Armstrong takes aim at a target out at the Eddy County Rod and Gun Club range Wednesday, while 4-H Shooting Sports leader Mike Brazil and his opponent, Neecie Swart, watch. Armstrong prevailed.

Congressman Kelly Armstrong, who's running for reelection as North Dakota's lone United States Representative against Democratic-NPL nominee Mark Haugen, visited New Rockford on Wednesday, August 3, for a pair of events focused on economic development and 4-H Shooting Sports.

Up first was a round table at the Rock Inn with city officials, business owners and other members from the community.
