The Sheyenne community will gather once again this summer to support one of its own fighting cancer.

On Thursday, Aug. 11, volunteers will host a benefit spaghetti supper and silent auction for Sharon Whitmer.

Whitmer was diagnosed with a fast-growing form of breast cancer in April. What led to the diagnosis, Whitmer says, was pure "divine intervention."
