Anglers are finding catfish on the move in the Red River, with some exhibiting signs of a late spawning effort. Nailing down the fishes' preferred bait is the primary challenge, as conditions have made fishing efforts easier.
It appears we had a second spawn or late spawn this year. It really doesn't matter but it is noticeable this week that we have a bunch more beat up and skinny fish.
