During the game against Creative Impressions, the Pink Sox in the dugout lined the fence to chant out cheers to their batters.
Small but feisty. Sadie Knatterud may be one of the smallest girls on the Pink Sox team (small enough to sit in a 5-gallon bucket), but Knatterud is not one to reckon with.

On Tuesday, July 19, the New Rockford Pink Sox participated in their post-season tournament at Ruger Field in Devils Lake, capping off a successful and enjoyable summer.
Up first to face New Rockford was the softball team from Lakota, and the matchup immediately went well for the Pink Sox.
New Rockford scored three runs in the top of the first, and scored no fewer than two runs in each of the four innings that followed.
In fact, the Sox' bats made solid contact all day long, as the tell-tale pang of softballs hitting metal bats often emanated from the batter's box while New Rockford was hitting.
However, Lakota's bats rang as well, enough to keep pace with New Rockford throughout and enough to overtake them in the bottom of the fourth with a seven-run inning, giving Lakota a 13-9 lead with one inning remaining.
In the top of the fifth, the Sox' Camebria Engels responded with a line drive into right field, scoring both runners in front of her, and eventually herself, as she notched an impressive three-run inside-the-park home run.
However, the Pink Sox were still one run short of tying the game, and were unable to score the last run needed, ending the game at 13-12 in Lakota's favor.
Up next, New Rockford played the Creative Impressions team from Devils Lake for third place.
Unfortunately, the game against Devils Lake wasn't so close, as the Pink Sox found themselves shutout by their opponents in a 6-0 loss, leaving New Rockford with a fourth place finish overall.
It wasn't the close to the season they were after, but Pink Sox Head Coach, Macey Wobbema, said this season was anything but disappointing.
"This season was very fun," she said. "There were a couple scary moments where it was super close and could have gone either way, but it was just really fun. We enjoyed it a lot."
This is Wobbema's first summer as the Pink Sox head coach. Together they finished the regular season with a 11-7-2 overall record, and Wobbema said she's already looking forward to next summer when she returns from college.
"Probably just getting to hang out with the girls, they're really fun," said Wobbema on what she enjoyed most about head coaching this summer. "They're quite the characters!"
Wobbema said she enjoyed watching the girls develop through the summer, as they grew to become something of a family - not just a team.
For their success this season, Wobbema was sure to thank the parents, who she said were instrumental in keeping the girls involved and helping the team whenever something didn't go as planned.
As for the girls, Wobbema had only a few words.
"Come back next season ready to play hard, because we're going to do even better!"
