Calvin Packard and mom, Shirley, enjoyed a cool ice cream treat one afternoon from the Bird Dawg and a drive through Campbell Memorial Park.

Friday, Taylor and Amanda Koepplin and girls were visitors and supper guests at the Todd and Karen Koepplin home and visited with Julie Johnson and family there. Julie took some family pictures.

House guests at the Ken and Marvis Holte home have been Marvis’ sisters, Ardy Yates of Arkansas and Penny Sorrells of Minneapolis. Saturday, they drove to Grand Forks, where they visited with brother, Cory Birkholz, and family. That evening found Ardy enjoying a visit with former classmates at the Eagles with the 1972 graduates of New Rockford High School. Sunday afternoon, the gals visited at the Charlotte Koepplin home.

Shirley Packard enjoyed the 4th of July parade in New Rockford.

Eloise Lucht had an appointment at Trinity Eye Clinic in Minot, Tuesday. She was driven by South Central Transit and returned home with good reports.

New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the families of Mary Ann Lies and John Engels.
