Correction: Ken and Marvis Holte and other family and fiends attended the 20th anniversary celebration for their daughter, Amanda, and Cody Bickett (not Koepplin) last Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carrington. Sorry Amanda and Cody.

Janet Laube got a surprising call from grandson, Scott Laube, with the news he had gotten married and was honeymooning with new bride in Deadwood, S.D.

Bill and Diana Ziegler, Nate Rue and Axel, Tara Hansen, Jerome Risovi, Brent and Jenna Helseth and family, Ken and Denise Reis, Karla Jacobson and family, Dennis Hegland and Holly Christianson and Nora braved the heat and wind and enjoyed the day Saturday with the Circle Trail Riders, Inc.

Calvin Packard escorted mom, Shirley, around town Tuesday so she could take care of necessary errands.

Cody and Amanda Bickett and Izzy brought early Father’s Day greetings to Ken Holte stopped in on Sunday with Father’s Day greetings.

Sunday, Taylor and Amanda Koepplin and girls enjoyed supper at the Todd and Karen Koepplin farm. Father’s Day greetings were extended.

Travelers, Dave and Cheryl Gabbert, took a car trip from their home in Minnesota to California to see the sights. They will be in New Rockford for the 4th of July.

Eloise Lucht heard from son, Alan, and Julie by Skype from Germany, where the temps have unusually been in the 100’s. Alan and Julie had just returned from a trip to Spain, where it was also almost unbearably hot.

Friday found Ken and Marvis Holte driving to Devils Lake, where they picked up daughter, Fayette Nelson. They enjoyed shopping and later a visit over goodies at Fayette’s with Violet Nelson.

Sunday, June 2022 would have been Janet and Leo Laube’s 51st wedding anniversary. Janet enjoyed a phone call with her sister-in-law, Lois Ockert, Sunday.

New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Aileen Berglund and Carl Jacobson.
